DAILY - IF YOU TAKE A DOSE ONCE OR TWICE A DAY, EVERY DAY
For many people taking prescription medications for things like high blood pressure, cholesterol, or long-term cancer treatments it becomes difficult to remember if you have taken your required dose each day. But with most medications, while you are supposed to take it once a day, every day, you are NOT supposed to take it twice. So you may frequently be left asking yourself - did I take this?
For medications or supplements that you need to take once or twice a day, EVERY DAY tooktake DAILY is for you. Simply place the Tooktake Dosage Reminder Labels on the bottle or box of your required medication/supplement. Each day, when you take the required dosage just peel off the perforated tab that corresponds to the day of the week. No more wondering if you took it! Each tooktake package contains 4 labels which should last you between 4 and 8 weeks.
HOURLY - FOR DOSES THAT ARE MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY AT HOURLY INTERVALS
Tooktake hourly labels are a little different than the rest of our labels. With tooktake HOURLY we recommend that you place the label on the bottle, package or container of any medication that is taken in hourly intervals, proactively.
Many medications that are taken for things like pain, nausea, colds, coughs, headaches or allergies have a recommended dosage that is “every 4 hours as needed” Some are 6 hours, some have a range. With many medications, such as a pain medication, it can be critical to take your next dose on time, but again, you don’t want to take it too soon because it can cause you to become overmedicated and have unwanted side effects. This can be especially true for children and people who are very sensitive to medications.
When you already aren’t feeling well, it makes it even more difficult to remember what time it was when you started taking medication. Especially if it was in the middle of the night. When you place your tooktake hourly labels on the bottle/container of your medication proactively it’s ready no matter when you need it. That way when you get up in the middle of the night to give your little one cough syrup or a loved one pain medication all you will need to do is pull off the tab that is closest to the hour you are taking or giving the medication.
Each Tooktake hourly label is good for one 24-hour period and has space for you to note the number of hours between doses right on the label.
10 Day
IF YOU TAKE A DOSE ONCE OR TWICE A DAY FOR up to 10 DAYS
The most common dosages for short-term medications, especially things like antibiotics are 7 to 10 days, either once or twice a day.
For those of us who aren’t used to remembering to take medications at all, this new addition to our daily routine can be extra challenging. You don’t want to forget and you don’t want to take it twice! The effects of taking many medications twice can be much worse than not taking them at all, but not taking them as prescribed can lessen the effectiveness of the prescribed treatment.
And, we’ve all probably had to do that thing where you count out your remaining tablets trying to remember when you went to the doctor, how many days it’s been, and then figuring out if you did indeed take your medicine or not.
By simply placing the tooktake 10-day label on the container of your required medication you can avoid all of the stress and confusion. Each day, when you take the required dosage simply peel off the perforated tab that corresponds to the day number of your prescription.
Then you, your spouse, or any other family member or caretaker will easily know if it’s time for another dose in the morning and you can continue in even intervals the rest of the day.
How to use:
Place the tooktake label on the bottle or box of your required medication or supplement.
Each day, when you take the required dosage peel off the perforated tab that corresponds to the dose that you are tracking ( the day, hour or month).
For the Daily and 10-day labels, if you take your dose twice a day, use one side for the morning and the other for the evening.
Know at a glance if you took or still need to take it.
Not sure how tooktake will fit on your bottle? Try turning it sideways!
